Iskérka is een project voor mensen met een psychiatrische achtergrond in het stadje Roznov pod Radhostem in Tsjechië. Op verzoek is De Boei gevraagd om haar expertice te delen met dit project. In december 2006 zijn de eerste contacten gelegd en is een medewerker van Iskérka op bezoek geweest bij De Boei. Naar aanleiding hiervan zijn documenten uitgewisseld die Iskérka helpen bij haar professionaliseringstraject in Tsjechië. Ook is beoordeeld waar specifiek behoefte aan was voor ondersteuning. De contactmethodiek was iets waar men erg geïnterresseerd in is.

2 oktober 2007 is derhalve een reisgezelschap vanuit De Boei naar Iskérka afgereisd. Op locatie zijn een drietal workshops gegeven over onze contactmethodiek. Ook is er kennis overgedragen op het gebied van clientenparticipatie en empowerment. De ontmoeting tussen de deelnemers, personeel van beide organisaties verliepen in een bijzonder ontspannen sfeer met wederzijds respect voor historie en cultuur.
Zowel Iskérka als De Boei hebben uitgesproken graag met elkaar verder te willen samenwerken in de toekomst. De Boei Contact zal dit project adopteren en als aanspreekpunt fungeren.

With the Experience from De Boei towards a Social Firm

Intent of the project

- Providing working opportunities for people people with a distance to the labour market, primarily for people with chronical psychiatric disorders. The project responds to the need of creating an alternative way of employment for people disadvantaged on the labour market and proves the social firm as a suitable model for various target groups of disadvantaged people.

- Exchange of experience with the Dutch partner organization Stichting De Boei, mainly
in the area of support for people with chronical psychiatric disorders, their working rehabilitation and work opportunities.

Goals of the project

- Starting a partnership between Iskérka and a social firm in the Netherlands. Using the experience and know-how of the Dutch partner social firm to define standards of the social firm. Preparing foundation of the international social firm and writing a project application for the establishment of such a firm.

- Setting up activities at Iskérka, the Czech social centre of daily activities, in order to prepare the clients of the centre for the work in the social firm.

- Involving clients into decisionmaking through a clients´ council, establishment of the council and incorporating its competence into the quality standards of the centre of Iskérka.

- Defining rules of cooperation with the Labour authority.

Outputs of the project

Output of realization, part I - rehabilitation:

- methodology of preparing clients for the work in the social firm, modifying standards of the centre of Iskérka according to the needs of the clients´ council, 2 clients trained for the work in social service, 6 workshops with the clients, 3 workshops for the clients both from the Netherlands and the Czech Republic

Output of realization, part II - social firm:

- starting up a partnership with a Dutch social firm, elaborating the standards of the social firm, working out a feasability study for the establishment of an international social firm in cooperation with the partner organizations and the Dutch-Czech Chamber of Commerce, writing a project application for the establishment of a social firm

Common output of both parts:
- editing a publication on local and international partnership and the results of the project which will be presented at an international conference

3. – 5. 10. 2007

Ve dnech 3. - 5.října 2007 navštíví centrum Iskérky ředitel Nadace De Boei z holandského města Eindhoven pan Hans Marechal, manažerka projektu "Kontakt" a dva klienti.
Nadace De Boei má 16ti leté zkušenosti s prací s dlouhodobě duševně nemocnými. Realizuje několik projektů, které fungují zcela samostatně. Tato přeshraniční spolupráce je hrazena z projektu EU z Globálního grantu a začala v roce 2006.
Formou workshopu budou představeny dva projekty - "Pomoz si sám", který je určen pro klienty a "Kontakt", který je určen pro pracovníky centra.
Na základě zkušeností Nadace De Boei bychom chtěli:
- zkvalitnit služby pro klienty Iskérky
- pomoci stabilizovat jejich zdravotní stav
- některým pomoci získat zaměstnání
- sdílet zkušenosti
- předání metodiky práce
